St. Michael Prayer

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do, thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Power of God, cast into hell satan and all of the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Glory to God in the Highest!

    1. MJM, Thank you for your input. I read the article, and in all honesty I have to say I disagree with the writer, especially for the home bound and the ill who cannot attend Eucharistic adoration in person. To suggest pondering an icon is, in my mind, far less than pondering the presence of God in Eucharistic Adoration. If it doesn't work for you, I feel that online adoration should not even be a consideration for you. However, for those who cannot attend adoration, or Mass, then I strongly support this type of devotion. As you said, there is much to ponder, but in my mind, there is not.
