St. Michael Prayer

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do, thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Power of God, cast into hell satan and all of the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Glory to God in the Highest!

January 22 is designated as a Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops

This photo was taken at Christmas.  It was a reflection of a bag being held near a light.  The image reminded me of an unborn child.

Prayer for the Legal Protection of the Unborn

Heavenly Father, Brother Jesus, Holy Spirit,

So many unborn children are destroyed each day.  Forgive us for this grievous sins.   Give parents the ability to see there are other alternatives to abortion.  Give parents the strong desire to see their children live.  In our country there are no laws to protect the unborn.  Holy Spirit, enlighten our leaders to realize that a child in the womb is a sacred gift from God and must be protected.  Grant our country the gift of laws that will protect the unborn and will help our world to see that life is a gift.  Let no unborn child die today.  If one dies, bring that child to You in heaven.  Thank You!  We praise and adore You, Sweet Triune God.  Forgive us.  Amen.

  1. Mallory, this picture reminds me of an unborn child as well! Beautiful prayer!

  2. Thank you, Mary! I am amazed because that light looks like an unborn child in prayer! It was beautiful to see. I didn't see the light when I took the picture, but DD said it was reflecting from a bag she was holding. AMazing how God works!
