St. Michael Prayer

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do, thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Power of God, cast into hell satan and all of the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Glory to God in the Highest!

What Does the Priest See From the Altar?

Mr. Jones already sleeping in the back of the church.
A mentally ill man trying to give someone a dollar.
Eyes shut during the homily.
Someone putting away their hymnal during the song.
Someone busy writing during the homily.
A teen aged girl in a  low cut tank top and tight jeans.
Two women glaring at each other across the church.
Two men holding hands thinking no one can see.
Many Empty pews.
People rolling their eyes when someone sings off key and loud.
People moving from the front to the back.
A family arriving late during the Mass.
Someone playing games on their smart phone.
Two people leaving Mass early.
An active group in the back talking.

And if the priest sees so much lack of reverence,
Remember,
God sees all and His Heart aches.
