My son's name is
Nicholas.
He wasn't named after the great saint,
but
he was named after my grandfather,
another saint.
However,
this is his patron saint's feast day.
There are many stories about St. Nicholas.
He was a very holy man
who gave much away to those in need.
He was a bishop.
He was a passionate fighter of heresy and paganism.
