St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do, thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Power of God, cast into hell satan and all of the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
Glory to God in the Highest!

One important element of this investigation for me was trying to find an
adequate explanation for the rampant division among the Protestant
faithful. If Sola Scriptura is the correct position with regard
to authority, and what the Bible says is so incredibly clear that any
person can pick it up and come to the correct interpretative conclusions
absent training in the Hebrew and Greek languages, as well as no
training in historical theology or Church history – how can there be so
many disagreements on what is so evidently perspicuous? One will often
hear, “It doesn’t matter what I think the Bible says. It doesn’t matter
what you think the Bible says. It doesn’t matter what Luther, Calvin, or
Roman Catholics think the Bible says.
