The bigger question is:
Is this Good for Your Soul?
You have to make that decision.
God gave us the gift of free Will.
We can choose to sin or not.
The phrase
"Nasty Woman"
is currently a popular and, supposedly,
empowering phrase in this election.
Certain women would like for us to be
Nasty Women
with pride.
What would Jesus want us to do?
How would the Mother of God act in this situation?
Proverbs 31: 25-31 tells us:
Strength and dignity are her clothing,
and she laughs at the time to come.
and she laughs at the time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom,
and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
She looks well to the ways of her household,
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children rise up and call her happy;
her husband too, and he praises her:
her husband too, and he praises her:
“Many women have done excellently,
but you surpass them all.”
but you surpass them all.”
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
Give her a share in the fruit of her hands,
and let her works praise her in the city gates.
and let her works praise her in the city gates.
The eyes of the Lord are more important.
Stand before the Cross of the Crucified.
Will you be the
Nasty Woman
or
the Woman who laughs at things to come?
