St. Michael Prayer

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do, thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Power of God, cast into hell satan and all of the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Glory to God in the Highest!

About Me

Yes, this is me.
I have recently
taken the veil.
You can read about it
You can't see it in the photo,
but my hair is pink.
Yes,
to the chagrin of many people,
I have
PINK
hair.
I love pink!
Pink, though, is not what I am about.

I am a cradle Catholic
who, at one time, drifted so far away from the faith, that if someone had not been praying for me, I know, had I died, I would have been on the way to hell.

My return to the faith was rocky, but it started with the faith of a non-Catholic woman.
Can you believe it?
I came back to the faith because of someone who was devout in her beliefs, but was not a Catholic.
God does work in mysterious ways!

I am a retired special ed teacher.
I am finding that some of my former students are their middle to late 30's!
I'm not sure how they got to be so old!
I'm still young!

When I am not writing or reading,
I make and sell lampwork glass beads and polymer clay creationsl

My daughter tells me that I have over a thousand followers on Twitter, but I didn't know I was on Twitter.  I haven't been there in years.

I post my articles on this blog under the Catholic365 tab.

I'm also on
Instagram on occassion, but it's rare.
Social Media is fine, but I just don't have the time to do it all.

I was blessed with two wonderful children who are adults now.
They have made me so proud to be called their Mom!

This is one of my favorite childhood photos of them.

I am also the proud owner of a retired greyhound named Pixie who is now a therapy dog and spends most of her day like this.

Pixie is very happy to spend the day on her couch sleeping, except when it's time to go see her people.

I am in full communion with the Catholic Church.
I try to attend daily Mass.
I pray for priests, and I encourage others to do the same.
I pray for our beloved Pope Francis.
I pray for as many people as I can on a daily basis.

If you have time,
say a prayer for me, too.
All prayer is very much appreciated!

Whether you like my pink hair or not doesn't matter.
I do.

Thank you for reading this blog.
Suggestions are always welcome!
