Choices

See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.  Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is.  And all who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure."
1 John 3: 1-3

What is the purpose of life?

To Know God.
To Love God.
To Serve God
in this world
and in the next.

Do you know God?
Do you love God?
Do you seek to serve God?

Today,
The pull of the world is strong.
The values, on which we were raised, are mocked, not cherished.
The gravity of sin has been forgotten.
The family is being broken apart.
Freedom of religion is being destroyed.
The self and control have become gods.

"Where is God?"you ask.
Look at our world!
Does God know us?
Does God love us?
Does God serve us?
Who has become the god?

We have forgotten that we are children of God.
We are not the parents.
We are the children.
Children learn and obey unless they turn away from the Creator.

If you know God,
if you love God,
if you serve God,
would the world be as it is?

Being a child of God
is not easy.
We are attacked for our values.
We are mocked for our beliefs.
Many are martyred for our faith.

Yet,
God loves all of His beloved children.
As a God of love, He wants to give us His Home, Heaven.
As a God of Mercy, He wants to give us every chance to gain Heaven.
As a God of Justice, He must hold us accountable for our choices.

Not every child of God goes to Heaven.
Many go to hell where God is not.

Hell is reality.
People deny that hell exists.
They are wrong.

The time has come.
We must make our choice.

God loves you!
He wants you!
He waits for you!
He has the words of eternal life.

So Jesus asked the twelve, “Do you also wish to go away?”  Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom can we go? You have the words of eternal life.
John 6: 67

Look at His Face.  His eyes are on you and you alone.  Jesus says:

"Do you also wish to go away?"

Your answer is....
