7 QT's: The Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary (A Holy Day of Obligation)

November 1, 1950, Pope Pius XII, declared that by divine revelation,  the Assumption of Mary was a divinely inspired doctrine.  That at the end of her earthly life, Mary was assumed into heaven body and soul.  This was a doctrine that was accepted by the Church.  Homilies have been found going back, as far as, the 6th century.

 Hail Mary,
full of grace,
The Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Magnificat

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
my spirit rejoices in God my Savior
for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant.
From this day all generations will call me blessed:
the Almighty has done great things for me,
and holy is his Name.

He has mercy on those who fear him
in every generation.
He has shown the strength of his arm,
he has scattered the proud in their conceit.

He has cast down the mighty from their thrones,
and has lifted up the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich he has sent away empty.

He has come to the help of his servant Israel
for he remembered his promise of mercy,
the promise he made to our fathers,
to Abraham and his children forever.

(Luke 1:46-55)

Our Lady of the Rosary,
Pray for us!
Tradition tells us that St. Dominic put together the Rosary as we know it today.
The Rosary begins with the
Apostle's Creed,
followed by the
Our Father,
3 Hail Mary's,
1 Glory Be.
After these initial prayers,
the Rosary is recited by praying
1 Our Father,
10 Hail Mary's,
1 Glory Be.
The different mysteries are the::
Joyful,
Sorrowful,
Luminous,
and the
Glorious.

 Our Lady of Guadalupe,
Patroness of the Americas,
Pray for us.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mystical Rose, make intercession for the Holy Church, protect the Sovereign Pontiff, help all those who invoke thee in their necessities, and since thou art the ever Virgin Mary, and Mother of the True God, obtain for us from thy most holy Son the grace of keeping our faith, of sweet hope in the midst of the bitterness of life, of burning charity, and the precious gift of final perseverance. Amen.

One Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father...in gratitude for the Miraculous Portrait as a continuing miracle and testimony.

Our Lady, Queen of Peace,
"Peace, Peace, and only Peace."

Mary, Mother of God and Our Mother, Queen of Peace!
You came to us to lead us to God.
Obtain for us the grace
not only to say:
“Be it done to me according to Your will!”,
but to live it, as You did.
Into Your hands we put our hands,
so that You may lead us to Him
amidst these afflictions and woes.
Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Creed, 7 Our Fathers, 7 Hail Marys, 7 Glory Be's
