7 Quick Takes This Week!

Some weeks are topsy turvy.  Believe me, when you ask the Holy Spirit to shake up your life, He will not decline that invitation.  I've learned that it's all about TRUST.  TRUST.  TRUST.  ALWAYS TRUST. The Holy Spirit will calm and guide us, and all we have to do is TRUST!
Pentecost was most eventful.  I cantored at the 11:30 Mass.  I had the songs down, or so I thought, but the Holy Spirit was determined to teach me HUMILITY.  I made more mistakes singing than I have since I began to cantor.  However, God does send His consolations.  As I walked to the car  to put my things away before the afternoon activities, I saw this on a license plate::

IT'S OKAY

 I thought that was very nice of Him.  Thank You, God.  Thank You!

I made history at church this week!  I became the first person, male or female, to be photographed for the church directory with pink hair!
I can hardly wait for the book to be finished!

 Pixie, my dog, is fine.  We were afraid that she was very ill since her platelet count had dropped dramatically.  I took her back to the vet today, which she didn't like, but the vet noted that her platelets were still low, then, she remembered that unlike other dogs, greyhounds have, what would be considered, a low platelet count compared to other dogs.  Pixie is just fine.  Thank you, Jesus!

I designed a new set of beads that I actually like.  I used polymer clay to make these beads.
They aren't finished yet.
I still need to add some coloring to them.
I used a lot of texture because I wanted them to look like broken pieces of coral.  I think I like them.

Thank You, Holy Spirit for the inspiration!

We've actually had a couple of "fall" like days.  Makes me wonder where summer went, but it's been a cold spring, and, so far, a cool summer.
I'm not complaining.  I remember those frigid days of winter.
Way too cold for me.
Yet, the cycle of seasons, from one to another, is normal and natural.
I think of

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
 a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
 a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to throw away;
 a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
 a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.
